HP TouchPad Review

erniemarsh : I bought this product 3-4 weeks back and i think it's worth the money I paid for it . It isn't an Ipad however it isn't some crapy china made china name tablet too . it will do a better job in comparison to other tablets inside the market . The App companies are little but growing . I just read about android coming on these touchpads too, if that happens it's going to be the very best value money can obtain in the tablet market . Now i'm not really a tech, so have no idea much about hardware but it really isn't slow . Life of the battery is ok not great , but spends such as 1/2 day charging if you desire to work on there all day long very long .

K. Magnuson : I bought the 32gb model for $400.00. I did pick up a rebate once they lowered the cost, nonetheless, the machine is worth the $400.00. The monitor is big, clean and clean. The operating system is magnificent. It really is fast and efficient. The multitasking is a excellent plus. I primarily use it to hold about 100 lbs of text manuals in pdf form, and to view an occassional movie on. The charging system works really nicely. I do not even have to take it out on the flip case to use the touchstone type charger. It really is a shame that HP chose to discontinue the unit. I feel their backing could have got made this far better compared to the i-pad. There exists a lack of programs just for this unit, however they are slowly increasing. I do hope that HP changes their mind and decides to actually back this unit. The wifi works beautifully. I can not say how much I really appreciate this unit.

TyJen : It is an superb product, I find it at $260.00 on ebay (32gb) and i also don't regret about it. What are the real uses of any tablet? Web surfing, multimedia, email reading, newspaper, ebook reader, occasionally create and edit some documents, play any of the silly free games about the tablet store, and then the HP Touchpad is effective at do all those task well. It has the same screen with the iPad that cost $600.00 (32gb) I save $340.00.

I'm a macintosh fan, I've a IMac, MacBook pro, Iphone 4 and i was willing to shop for the 32gb iPad 2. And i also can tell you that apple have got and superb high quality but is more the show of than the functionality. Once you put your touch pad over a case no one can tell the real difference from an iPad first gen.plus you will have a front camera for video convention via Skype.

on my personal opinion iPad 1 is 4 stars the HP touchpad is 4 1/4 (for the video convention) and de iPad 2 is 5 stars. But I consider that it advantage of 3/4 of any star that have the iPad 2 don't well worth the money difference. I personally use the $340.00 which i save to buy a good tissot moto gp view.

J. stevens : I've had tablet envy for awhile and had this item in my Amazon marketplace Purchasing Cart Looking forward to a value drop Or even the Amazon Tablet being released. As you know right now the HP Touchpad's value dropped dramatically, just not here. I ordered one directly from HP Customer service the first weekend offered. It has came, I'm having a blast by using it. In my opinion extra applications for this will come. I STILL have Amazon marketplace Tablet envy because I look forward to Amazon marketplace innovation in all areas it delves into!
